Macau, internationally famous for its diverse culinary offerings, has an equally vibrant street snacks culture. Dotted along the lanes and byways of the city, street vendors, although gradually disappearing, are a direct link to the nostalgic memories of residents and visitors alike, and are often inseparable elements of many districts of the city.
This exhibition employs videos, recordings, photos, and personal interviews to tell the story of the much-loved urban street vendors, who have, over four generations in some cases, been an intrinsic part of the changing city.
