Sculpture Park of the Chinese Ethnics at Grand Taipa Natural Park
Grand Taipa Natural Park is home to Macao's first ethnic-themed sculpture garden, the Sculpture Park of the Chinese Ethnics, offering a perfect blend of outdoor recreation and art appreciation.
The area is divided into two main sections:
- Sculpture Display Zone: Showcases 56 bronze sculptures that portray the diverse cultures of China's 56 ethnic groups, highlighting the spirit of peace, harmony, and unity among the Chinese nation.
- Exhibition Centre: Features a variety of exhibits including ethnic costumes, daily life scenes, folk crafts, and musical instruments. These displays vividly illustrate the rich, colorful, and distinctive traditional culture of the Chinese people.
Sitting atop a hill, the park itself provides sweeping panoramic views of the territory, encompassing both seascapes and mountains. Visitors can enjoy barbecues, let children play on the exercise facilities, or simply relax and enjoy the cool breezes.
