What if all of humanity took on the form of children? What if all social facilities were designed specifically for kids? What if...

What if children could participate in building the city, home, and playground of their dreams? What are the shortcomings of our current community from a child's perspective? Or what whimsical hopes do they have for facilities that already exist? The answers are hidden in their little minds—let's imagine together!

"My Dream City" Children's Art Exhibition and Workshop is organized by the Fantasia 10 Creative Garden and sponsored by the Macao Foundation. The event invites all children aged 8–12 in Macau with dreams and aspirations to participate. From March 7 to April 13, 2014, submissions of paintings on the theme "My Dream City" were accepted. The organizer aims to stimulate children's imagination, creativity, and social awareness through this themed activity. The event is divided into three phases:

Event Phases

Phase 1: Open Call (March 7 – April 13, 2014)

Submission of 2D paintings, with artwork size not exceeding 1 square meter.
The organizer selected 20 artworks for exhibition and chose 8 outstanding creators to participate in the next phase's workshop.
Announcement of Results: April 16, 2014.
Judging Criteria: Creativity 40% / Overall Effect 30% / Diligence 15% / Relevance to Theme 15%.
Judges: Two workshop instructors and the event planner.
Submission Requirements: Complete 2D painting and a filled-out application form.
Benefits for Selected Works: Exhibition in June, presentation of a participation certificate, and a souvenir.
Result Notification: Announced on 'Creative Garden FACEBOOK' and via SMS.
Return of Unselected Works: From April 16–30 at the Creative Garden (notification via SMS).

Phase 2: Creative Workshop (May 11 – May 18, 2014)

8 outstanding creators can participate for free in a 13-hour 3D creation workshop, guided by instructors to produce 3D works on the same theme.
Participation Requirement: Full attendance, completion of the workshop, and exhibition of the finished work.

- May 18 (Sun): 11:00–13:00, 14:00–17:00

Phase 3: Artwork Exhibition (June 1 – June 13, 2014)

Exhibition of the 20 selected 2D works and 8 3D works from the workshop at Exhibition Room A02 of the Creative Garden.
Award Ceremony: Participation certificates and souvenirs presented during the Children's Day Garden Party on June 1.
Return of Exhibited Works: From June 17–29 at the Creative Garden (notification via SMS).
