Overview
The Nam Van Lake waterfront has been transformed into a vibrant leisure area named 'Anim'Arte NAM VAN'. This integrated project combines sports, culture, and tourism, offering a variety of facilities and activities for residents and visitors to enjoy the serene lakeside setting and city views.
Facilities & Activities
- Cultural & Creative Shops & Themed Stores:
- Macao Cultural and Creative Industries Map Themed Store selling selected local creative products.
- Charity Group Creative Shop selling original handmade products.
- Graffiti display boards connecting the creative spaces.
- IFT Café: Managed by the Institute for Tourism Studies, offering Western-style light food, signature sandwiches, juices, pastries, and beverages served by students.
- Craft Market: Held every Saturday and Sunday from June 11th, featuring booths from Macao, Hong Kong, and Mainland China, along with handicraft workshops.
- Water Bicycling (Pedal Boats): Rent swan-shaped double-seated or family-friendly four-seated pedal boats to explore the lake.
- Weekend Cultural Performances: A rich program including Art Fusion - Typical Costumes Parade, 'Eléctrico' puppet show, Portuguese Fado music, jazz performances, clowns, stilt walkers, doll-making workshops, balloon twisting, and face painting.
