Program Overview

MEET2020 is now open for applications! Join this summer English program to learn English and exchange ideas with foreign tutors from the University of Edinburgh. Each foreign tutor is paired with only 6-8 students! The fee is just MOP 600!

Key Details

• Dates: August 3–14, 2020 (Monday to Friday)
• Time: 4:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Format: Primarily online teaching, supplemented with offline classes (offline venue to be announced later)
• Fee: MOP 600 (mainly used for teaching materials, tutor allowances, etc.)
• Target Participants: Priority given to Macau upper primary to high school students. Those wishing to improve English communication skills will also be considered.

Program Features

Building on three years of experience, the program continues its interactive teaching approach, facilitating English exchange between foreign tutors and Macau students. This year, there is a greater emphasis on project-based learning, allowing students to learn English communication through practical application and prepare for future studies early.

The program covers three main areas. Students can choose freely according to their interests. Please indicate your preference order during registration, and the association will try to accommodate.

Organizers

This event is jointly organized by a Macau registered association and a UK registered charity, the Macau Edinburgh Exchange Tour (MEET), and the UK Macau Youth Alliance. This is the fourth edition of the annual program.
