As the birthplace of the Macau Grand Prix, the museum allows you to relive the extraordinary history of this unique event and personally feel the excitement of motorsport. The collection features racing cars and motorcycles from decades of competition, telling the glorious stories of drivers, teams, and legends since 1954. These moments from racing history converge in the 21st century to offer you an unparalleled all-round experience!
The expanded museum now has four floors, six times larger than before! It houses a vast collection of classic racing cars, historical knowledge about the Grand Prix, modern high-tech indoor racing simulators, and wax figures of famous drivers created in collaboration with Madame Tussauds.
Basement Level (-1): Divided into three zones: "Guia Race," "Macau GT Cup," and "Race Experience Zone." The first two zones primarily display models, while the popular experience zone recreates the race command center, team command post, pit stop, and podium, helping visitors understand the event. It also features educational content on "Race Car Aerodynamics."
First Floor: Divided into "Early Racing" and "Grand Prix Formula 3" sections. Visitors can see the evolution of racing cars from early models to modern ones, with each car's history detailed on information plaques.
The "Formula 3" section is a highlight of the Grand Prix, showcasing world-class drivers and teams in a hall of fame. Interactive games like "Driver Reaction Challenge," "Gravity Speed Challenge," and "Formula 3D Experience" are available here.
VR Speed Experience Zone: Visitors can don VR headsets and sit on a motorcycle to experience the thrilling Macau Grand Prix circuit. Each lap lasts a few minutes with staff guidance. Note: The experience can be intense, similar to a roller coaster, and may cause dizziness for some.
Ground Floor: Features a souvenir shop selling a range of merchandise, from small items like model cars, fridge magnets, and postcards to larger items like driver apparel and collector's editions. A local boutique café is also located nearby for a complete visit.
Facilities: Each floor is equipped with information counters, restrooms, and baby care rooms. Elevators and stairs are available, and staff are plentiful and attentive to visitors' needs.
