Reopening Announcement
The newly renovated Children's Playground at the Mountainside Municipal Park Comprehensive Plaza has reopened to the public on Saturday, March 5, 2022. The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has carried out optimization works to provide citizens with a more comfortable and safe recreational space.
Playground Features & Upgrades
- New Play Equipment: The aging facilities have been replaced with a variety of new, challenging play structures focused on climbing, primarily suitable for children aged 5 to 12.
- Enhanced Amenities: The renovation included adding and renewing sunshade facilities, upgrading to an energy-efficient lighting system, and installing drinking water fountains.
- Improved Greenery: The surrounding landscape has been beautified with the planting of various flowering plants such as marguerite daisies, kalanchoe, and zephyr lilies.
Safety Guidelines
As some of the new play equipment presents a certain level of challenge, the IAM reminds parents to:
- Provide safety guidance to their children.
- Pay attention to on-site notices and use the facilities according to the applicable age ranges and safety guidelines.
- Cherish the public facilities.
The IAM will continue to optimize and improve park facilities based on actual conditions to increase recreational and play spaces for citizens and children.
