Event Overview
A city orienteering challenge designed to raise awareness about responsible gambling and connect citizens with local problem gambling prevention services.
Key Details
- Objective: Through a city orienteering activity, allow citizens to personally visit Macau's gambling disorder prevention institutions. This aims to strengthen correct knowledge of responsible gambling, enhance public awareness of gambling prevention, and help introduce appropriate gambling prevention services to those in need.
- Target Participants: Aged 15 to 40 (Participants under 18 require a signed parental consent form).
- Team Format: 3 persons per team.
- Quota: 30 teams (first-come, first-served).
Competition Information
- Competition Date: Sunday, November 20, 2016
- Competition Time: 10:00–13:00 (All teams must arrive at the assembly point for registration by 09:30. Late teams may be disqualified by the organizer).
- Assembly Point: Luso-Chinese School of Dr. Luís Gonzaga Gomes (操場 / School Field)
- Competition Format: Points-based system. Teams must reach different checkpoints and complete tasks within a limited time. The team with the highest accumulated points wins.
Prizes
- Champion (1 team): Trophy + MOP 2,000 cash prize.
- 1st Runner-up (1 team): Trophy + MOP 1,000 cash prize.
- 2nd Runner-up (1 team): Trophy + MOP 700 cash prize.
- All teams that complete the challenge will receive a commemorative gift.
Registration & Fees
- Registration Fee: MOP 100 per team (Refundable upon completion of the event).
- Registration Method:
- Online registration OR submit the application form at the association's office (Parental consent form required for those under 18).
- Visit the office in person to pay the registration fee.
