What is DFC?
Children and youth from over 60 countries and regions worldwide change the world by completing the four steps of DFC: Feel (identify a problem), Imagine (devise an innovative solution), Do (implement the action), and Share (present the results). Participants submit reports, presentations, or videos detailing their four-step process. Outstanding performers have the chance to represent Macao at the world's largest children and youth exchange event.
Eligibility & Format
- Target Participants: Macao residents (permanent and non-permanent) aged 6 to 17.
- Format: Participate individually or in teams of up to 5 members, guided and coordinated by 1-2 adults.
The Four-Step Challenge Process
- Feel - Discover a potential problem around you and choose the most urgent one as your challenge theme.
- Imagine - Brainstorm innovative and unique methods to solve or improve the problem.
- Do - Gather all necessary resources and put the plan into action (actions must be conducted between May 1, 2019, and the submission deadline).
- Share - Share your DFC story with others to influence more people to support and join the change.

Submission Requirements
- Language: Submissions must be in Chinese or English.
- Content: Must include the project title, team name, and a clear explanation of how the four steps were conducted.
- Documentation: The entire four-step process must be documented through photos, videos, audio, or text records.
- Format: Final work must be presented as:
- A video (3 to 5 minutes, MP4 format)
- A presentation (PPT or PPTX format)
- A report (DOC, DOCX, or PDF format)
Prizes & Rewards
- Macao Representative Team: Opportunity to represent Macao at the world's largest children and youth exchange event (to be held the following year). Organizers will notify selected candidates with details.
- Seven Feature Story Winners: Each winner will receive a medal and a certificate.
- All Participants: Will receive an internationally recognized participation certificate.
