Do you believe the problems around you can one day be solved by you? While others are still complaining, you can be the first to take action! The theme is up to you—unleash your infinite creativity, challenge yourself, and change Macau!
Target Participants
- Macau residents (including permanent and non-permanent) aged 6 to 17.
Format
- Participate as an individual or in a team of up to 5 people.
- Each team must be guided and coordinated by one adult.
Challenge Process
- Feel - Observe potential problems in daily life or wishes you want to achieve.
- Imagine - Devise innovative methods to solve or improve the issues.
- Do - Implement your idea with minimal resources within one week.
- Share - Share your story with people around you and the world to inspire more action.
Document the process of these four steps and present it in one of the following formats:
- Video: A 3 to 5-minute short film.
- Slideshow: Text and photos.
- Report: Text and photos.
What You Gain by Participating
After completing the four steps, submitting your work, and verification by the organizer:
- Outstanding performers will represent Macau in overseas exchange programs. Details and selection will be notified between May and June 2015.
- Outstanding performers will share their stories of change at the Macau awards ceremony.
- Outstanding stories will be compiled into a book and promoted worldwide.
- All participants will receive an internationally recognized certificate of participation.
- Outstanding mentors for special awards will receive an Excellent Mentor Award.
