Exhibition Overview
In line with the 2013 policy guidelines to "encourage diverse life experiences and enhance the creativity and innovation capabilities of youth," the Youth Art Gallery under the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau presents "The Other City – Interactive Installation Exhibition by Feng Xiaoying, He Runjian, Shi Yaxin, Liao Zhe."
Featured Artists & Works
- The exhibition showcases a series of interactive installation works by four recently graduated design students: Feng Xiaoying, He Runjian, Shi Yaxin, and Liao Zhe.
- The artists employ various media to create pieces that invite direct physical engagement from viewers.
- Through this interactive experience, the artists aim to share their personal perspectives on urban life, evoking a sense of the strange and wonderful feeling of "this city is not that city"—simultaneously distant and close.
About the Youth Art Gallery
- For each exhibition, participants are assisted, guided, and encouraged by gallery staff in all aspects of preparation, including exhibition planning, promotional material design, and installation.
- This hands-on process fully embodies the gallery's mission: to provide a space for young people to exhibit their talents, share their creativity, and cultivate creative thinking and self-confidence.
