About the Competition
The Sustainable Carnival – Shengshi Social Development Plan Children's Painting Competition 2023 is now open for submissions! This competition aims to encourage Macau children to unleash their creativity and imagination, focusing on how to organize and participate in various activities in an environmentally friendly way.
Key Details
- Submission Period: April 3 – May 5, 2023
- Eligibility: Macau students aged 8 to 14 (birth years 2009–2015)
- Theme: "Sustainable Carnival" – Participants are encouraged to create artwork that integrates environmental protection elements, depicting a sustainable carnival celebration.
- Objective: To promote the concepts of sustainability and ecological conservation through art.
Prizes & Awards
- Champion (1 winner): MOP 3,500, trophy, and certificate
- First Runner-up (1 winner): MOP 2,000, trophy, and certificate
- Second Runner-up (1 winner): MOP 1,000, trophy, and certificate
- Third Runner-up (1 winner): MOP 800, trophy, and certificate
- Merit Awards (35 winners): Each receives a MOP 100 McDonald's food voucher
- Online Popularity Award (1 winner): One-night stay in a MGM Cotai "Resort Room" with breakfast for two, trophy, and certificate
- Active Participation Group Award (3 groups): Each group receives a MOP 500 stationery voucher and a trophy
