Macau Giant Panda Pavilion
Visit the home of Macau's beloved giant pandas, Kaikai and Xinxin, at the Macau Giant Panda Pavilion located within Seac Pai Van Park on Coloane. The pavilion's design mimics a natural habitat, with rock-like walls surrounding the activity areas to create a landscape of mountains and water for the pandas.
Key Features
- Indoor Areas: Two indoor activity zones, each approximately 330 square meters.
- Outdoor Area: A spacious outdoor activity field of about 600 square meters.
- Information Center: The Macau Giant Panda Information Center presents the characteristics, habits, forms, growth process, and living environment of giant pandas in an engaging way. Visitors, especially children, can learn more about pandas through various interactive games.
Visitor Information
- Opening Hours: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm; 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Last admission at 4:45 pm).
- Closed: Every Monday (If Monday is a public holiday, closed on the following Tuesday).
- Viewing System: Six viewing sessions per day, with visitors admitted in batches.

About the Pandas
Kaikai (male, 7 years old) and Xinxin (female, 8 years old) are a pair of giant pandas gifted by the central government. They arrived in Macau in May 2015. Kaikai is described as strong, active, and energetic, while Xinxin is gentle and has a good appetite. The pair were carefully selected from 55 candidate pandas based on age, health, and fertility.
