Competition Introduction
Macau has been a fishing village since ancient times, surrounded by sea on three sides with abundant fishery resources. The 1930s marked the peak of Macau's fishing industry, with a fishing and water-dwelling population exceeding 60,000 and nearly 3,000 fishing boats of various sizes docked in the harbor, accounting for over half of Macau's total population at the time. The organizer is hosting this competition to reintroduce the public to traditional sailing ship culture. By combining creative elements with local history and culture, the competition aims to raise social awareness of Macau's maritime traditions.
