- Upcoming Event: A levitation photography competition will be held in May. To add a playful element, participants can modify their photos in any way. Entries are to be uploaded to the "Play‧Photography" Facebook page. Preliminary judging will be based on online 'likes,' followed by final selection by judges. Five winning works will be made into postcards, sending the creators' art around the world.
Part 2: < Micro Woman‧Micro Exhibition > Photography Exhibition
- Dates: April 20–30, 2013
- Featured Artist: Zheng Fan, a kindergarten teacher with ten years of experience and a private passion for photography.
- Artist's Approach: She has experimented with various cameras, from simple film cameras and digital cameras to professional DSLRs and quirky Lomo cameras. For her, every camera is a tool to "preserve memories." In the age of smartphones, she has fallen in love with the "square + Lomo" style of mobile photography, capturing moments anytime, anywhere, based on feeling. Her technique isn't the professional A or M mode, but the F mode—Feel mode—using personal sensation to create unique angles and colors in every photo. This exhibition is her moment to realize a dream, sharing her most evocative memories with the public.
