The Macao Polytechnic University School of Arts presents the "Macau IN Impression" Visual Culture Illustrated Magazine Exhibition, showcasing handmade picture books by students that tell stories of Macau. Through independent perspectives, the students express their most genuine feelings about the city. This exhibition is not only a showcase of works by third-year Visual Arts students but also a call to action. It aims to inspire more people to discover Macau's unique beauty—its historical and cultural charm—through these picture books, rekindling their deep-seated affection for the city and motivating them to care for and cherish this land. The works collectively reflect various aspects of Macau, including its Sino-Western cultural fusion, magical places, tourism, and history.
Picture books are an art form that combines images, text, and multimedia, embodying a humanistic spirit. They serve an educational and enlightening purpose, offering value not only to children but to the general public as well.
