Event Overview
The 2023 Macau Caritas Charity Run, organized by Macau Caritas and co-organized by the University of Macau, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 29, on the University of Macau campus.
This annual charity run has been held since 2016, enjoying widespread public support. After being suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic and held online in 2021 and 2022, the event returns to a physical format this year. The run aims to promote running as a healthy lifestyle while spreading messages of inclusion for people with disabilities and family harmony. All proceeds will be used to fund the "Wishful Elderly Service" social enterprise.
Run Categories & Details
- Challenge Run: 10 km
- Health Run: 5 km
- Leisure Run: 2 km (suitable for all, including families, people with disabilities, and walkers)
- Virtual Run: For those unable to attend in person. Participants can run the specified distance anytime, anywhere on October 29 and submit their running data to receive commemorative gifts.
Participation & Fees
- Target Participants: 3,500
- Registration Fee: MOP 160 per participant
- Family Group Fee: MOP 160 per adult; MOP 100 per child/teenager
- Participants are encouraged to invite friends and family to donate additional funds.
Perks & Awards
- All participants receive a commemorative charity run T-shirt.
- Participants who complete their challenge within the specified time limit will receive a finisher's medal and a commemorative towel.
- The 2023 medal features a circular, rotatable design, symbolizing the infinite cycle of charity work and sports.

- Registration Period: From now until September 15, 2023
- Online Registration: In cooperation with ICBC Macau, participants can register via the ICBC Macau mobile banking app. The system supports registration for up to 5 people at once.
