The 7th Salomon Macau King of the Hill Trail Race is an exciting trail running event organized by the Macau Trail 100 Runners Club and sponsored by Salomon. The race features two distances: 24km (with 970+ meters of elevation gain) and 10km (with 410+ meters of elevation gain), both starting and finishing at the Hac Sa Beach Recreation Area in Coloane. The course takes runners through stunning coastal paths, ancient forest trails, and scenic hills, showcasing Macau's unique natural landscape. The event is open to runners of all levels, with a special youth category (ages 14-17) for the 10km distance. All participants receive a race T-shirt, and finishers will be awarded a medal and an electronic certificate. The race is pending ITRA points certification. Mandatory gear includes a mobile phone, a water container of at least 500ml, a race bib, some cash or Macau Pass, and reusable utensils (no disposable cups or bowls provided at aid stations). Shuttle bus service is available from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Macau Port or the Border Gate bus stop at 6:30 AM (MOP 25 per person). Registration is open until November 30, 2027, or until full.
