Overview
Kangaroo Global Linguistics (KGL) is a global English competition designed for students aged 17 or below who are learning English as a foreign language. Organized by 23 international competition units across 34 countries and regions, it tests participants' English application, writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills across different stages. The competition questions are based on English textbooks used in 53 countries, and all levels are aligned with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), preparing students for future language assessments and showcasing their English talents.
The competition is divided into three stages, with the final stage sending up to four representatives from each national region to compete in Europe.
