Incense and Pinwheel Stalls

A-Ma Temple is one of Macao’s most ancient temples. During the Chinese New Year, it becomes a hub of activity as thousands of worshipers visit to pray for blessings and good fortune for the coming year.

Temporary stalls are set up along the waterfront promenade in front of the temple, selling traditional items like pinwheels, incense, and joss paper, making it convenient for visitors to purchase these auspicious goods.
