Overview

Ho Yin Park, also known as 'Xiangshan Park', is a public park in Macau. Completed in 1993, it was built to commemorate the esteemed Macau Chinese community leader, Mr. Ho Yin. The park forms a long, rectangular green corridor with the adjacent Song Yushan Park, featuring a simple, bright design and a modern feel with diverse facilities.

History & Significance

The park underwent major renovation in 2005 to accommodate urban development, which included building an underground parking garage. The park was re-planned into two sections connected by an underground passage.

The Macau Handover Memorial Pavilion was inaugurated by then Chief Executive Edmund Ho Hau Wah and others. A white orchid tree was planted beside it during the Millennium Arbor Day, symbolizing Mr. Ho Yin's noble character, patriotism, and lifelong philanthropy.

The Chinese Ethnic Sculpture Garden was moved to the park in 2019 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of the Macau SAR. It promotes the spirit of peace, harmony, and unity among China's ethnic groups.
