About the Competition
The Macao Heritage Ambassadors Association, with funding from the Macao Foundation, is organizing the "Fun with Heritage Carnival 2024: Booth Game Design Competition." This competition aims to select fun and engaging booth games that promote Macao's cultural heritage, the Cultural Heritage Protection Law, and the concept of shared heritage. The winning designs will be used at the actual carnival, fostering innovation and practical skills among youth while raising public awareness and knowledge of cultural heritage preservation.
Key Details
- Registration Period: From now until May 24, 2024.
- Target Participants: All Macao secondary school students.
- Team Format: Teams of up to 7 members.
- School Participation: Schools can submit multiple teams, but only one team per school will be selected for the final round.
Competition Structure & Prizes
- First Design Submission Deadline: May 24, 2024.
- Announcement of Shortlisted Teams: May 31, 2024.
- Second Design Submission Deadline: June 14, 2024.
- Game Props Submission Deadline: June 26, 2024.
- Carnival Dates: July 6–7, 2024 (3:00 PM–6:30 PM).
Prizes:
- All participating teams will receive a certificate of participation.
- The four finalist teams will each receive:
- A certificate and trophy.
- MOP 1,000 for game production costs.
- The opportunity to produce their booth game for the carnival.
