This exhibition presents a collection of photographs by the renowned former Soviet photographer Mikhail Miksha, on loan from the Moscow Museum of Multimedia Art. Through his lens, the exhibition captures the grand spectacle of the 1949 founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China and the everyday life of its people in the early years of the nation. The photographs are rare and hold significant historical value.
Held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 22nd anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
The exhibition is held under the guidance and support of the National Art Museum of China, the Publicity and Culture Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, and the Russia-China Culture and Art Foundation.
