A fashion styling exhibition organized by the Macau Cultural and Creative Industries Promotion Association, featuring the collaborative work of 7 local fashion designers from 4 different brands. The exhibition showcases the multifaceted talents of fashion designers beyond their own labels, focusing on the art of styling, photography, and creative direction.
This exhibition aims to answer common questions about the role of a fashion designer in Macau. It demonstrates that designers are not only creators of clothing but also possess essential skills in aesthetics, color coordination, material application, and tailoring. Many also work as art directors and image consultants.
The 7 participating designers have created works for eight different themes, combining fashion, styling, and set design to produce a series of fashion photography. The exhibition is divided into thematic zones displaying both garments and photographic works, offering a visual feast and promoting the recognition and sustainable development of local fashion and styling design.
Local celebrities from the entertainment industry volunteered as models for the project. Furthermore, a selection of the photographic works will be compiled and printed into a photo book for charity sale. All proceeds, without deduction of costs, will be donated to the "Macau Association of Parents of the Mentally Handicapped." The exhibition partners hope to contribute to society and help those in need through this creative endeavor.
