Event Overview

Celebrate the 23rd anniversary of Macau's handover with the "Towards the Future" children's painting competition! This event invites young artists to unleash their imagination and paint their vision of a beautiful future Macau.

Competition Details

Theme & Requirements

• Theme: Participants' vision of future Macau. Themes can include, but are not limited to: 5G life, BeiDou Navigation System, Jiaolong submersible, or their favorite scientists.
• Paper Size: All submissions must be on 8K white paper (260mm x 370mm).
• Medium: Any painting method is acceptable (excluding digital art and 3D works).
• Content: Works should have a reasonable layout, beautiful color matching, positive content, align with "Love the Country, Love Macau" values, and unify knowledge with visual appeal.

• Kindergarten Group (K1-K3)
• Lower Primary School Group (P1-P3)
• Upper Primary School Group (P4-P6)
• Junior High School Group
• Senior High School Group

Note: An "Outstanding Mentor Award" is also established to commend the teachers of winning students.

• Competition Start Date: November 10
• Submission Deadline: December 1
• Results Announcement: Before December 10
• Exhibition Period: December 10, 2022 – January 10, 2023

Prizes (Per Age Group)

• Grand Prize (2 winners): MOP 500 dining voucher for Wyndham Palace's Little Italy Restaurant.
• First Prize (3 winners): MOP 400 course voucher for Clamp Music Centre.
• Second Prize (4 winners): 999 gold foil pendant from Seng Fung Jewellery.
• Third Prize (5 winners): Choice of an MOP 88 red packet from mFood OR a limited-edition necklace from local brand MACREW.
• Merit Award (20 winners): Special gift from the Macao Science Center.

Additional Benefits: Selected winning works will be exhibited at the Macao Science Center atrium after judging. Some winners will be invited to attend the award ceremony on December 10.
