This exhibition showcases representative decorations, paintings, calligraphy, and festive activities from the Qing Dynasty imperial court during the Spring Festival. It is divided into four thematic sections: Praying for Blessings and Welcoming Auspiciousness, Ancestral Worship and Family Banquets, Family and State, and Recreational Entertainment.
Featuring nearly 120 artifacts/sets of cultural relics supplemented by video materials, the exhibition brings the traditions and rituals of the Qing Dynasty royal New Year to Macau, allowing visitors to experience the joyful and harmonious festive atmosphere of the Forbidden City.
