"Architectural Sketches x3 – Young Architects Series" presents 40 architectural sketch works by three young architects: Chen Zili, Long Fazhi, and Yao Yingxin. This exhibition offers a unique glimpse into their architectural concepts and creative processes.
The exhibition is held at Albergue SCM (Pó Chai Un), a century-old Portuguese-style building painted in goose yellow. Historically, the site served as a "Home for the Poor" during the Japanese invasion of China, providing shelter for refugees and the impoverished. It later became an old-age home, earning it the name "Pó Chai Un" (House of Old Ladies). The two giant century-old camphor trees in its courtyard are iconic features of this creative space. Albergue SCM regularly hosts art performances, cultural exhibitions, and is a popular gathering spot for art and culture enthusiasts.
