The AP6 Mainland and Macao Artist Bookplate Invitational Exhibition, jointly organized by the China Artists Association Bookplate Research Society, Macao International Printmaking Research Centre, and Shenzhen Bookplate Association, was held in Macao. The exhibition primarily featured works depicting the scenery and culture of Mainland China and Macao. The exquisite bookplate pieces were created by renowned artists from both regions, making this a rare and valuable showcase.
It was hoped that through this bookplate art exchange exhibition, in addition to strengthening printmaking art exchanges between the Mainland and Macao and promoting the prosperous development of cultural arts in both places, Macao citizens would also gain an understanding of the art form of bookplates and be encouraged to create their own, uniquely styled bookplates.
