Event Overview
The 2014 Chung Yeung Hiking Fun Day, jointly organized by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) and several local associations, will be held on September 28, 2014. This event aims to promote the unique features of Coloane's walking trails, allow participants to experience the traditional Chung Yeung Festival custom of climbing to a high place, and encourage citizens to make good use of their leisure time by participating in physical activities that benefit both body and mind.

- Main Venue: Hac Sa Reservoir Country Park, Coloane
- Activities: The event will feature three main segments: booth games, cultural performances, and a mass walk.
- Hiking Route: The approximately 2,000-meter route starts at Hac Sa Reservoir Country Park, proceeds along the Coloane Health Trail to the Coloane Peak Park, passes by the A-Ma Statue in Coloane, and returns to the starting point. The entire hike is expected to take about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Registration & Admission
- Available Slots: Approximately 1,300 places are available for public registration.
- Admission: Free of charge.
- Registration Period: September 12 to 22, 2014.

Transportation
To facilitate participants, free shuttle bus service will be provided on the event day.
- Pick-up Time: 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM on September 28.
- Pick-up Points:
- Nam Van Octagonal Pavilion Bus Stop.
- Temporary pick-up/drop-off zone near Farmacia Lian Tai in Iao Hon.
- Destination: Shuttles will depart for Hac Sa Reservoir Country Park.
- Return Trip: After the event, the shuttle buses will stop at Taipa Central Park before terminating at the Nam Van Octagonal Pavilion Bus Stop.
