Event Overview
To align with and implement the SAR Government's annual goals of "cultivating good character and civic literacy, and promoting students' diversified development," the Youth Pavilion under the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ) continues to host the "2013 6.1 International Children's Day" Creative Coloring Competition.
Theme & Slogan
- Theme: "Love the Earth, Cherish Resources"
- Slogan: "Learn to save, do not waste, be a responsible little citizen."
Competition Details
- Task: Participants must color the provided A3 drawing sheet and create within the reserved space to enrich the original content.
- Age Groups:
- Group A: 6–7 years old
- Group B: 8–9 years old
- Group C: 10–12 years old
Prizes (for each group)
- Champion: Trophy and MOP 1,000 stationery voucher
- 1st Runner-up: Trophy and MOP 600 stationery voucher
- 2nd Runner-up: Trophy and MOP 300 stationery voucher
- Merit Award: Trophy and MOP 100 stationery voucher
Winners will be notified by phone. The award ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 26, at 9:00 AM at the Macao Forum (綜藝館). An "International Children's Day" Garden Party and an exhibition of winning works will also take place on the same day. Please refer to the competition regulations for details.
How to Participate
- Eligibility: Children aged 6–12 residing in Macao.
- Get the Drawing Sheet: Available from the announcement date at any of the four youth centers under DSEJ.
- Submission: Submit the completed artwork to the Youth Pavilion (青年試館) from the announcement date until March 15, 2013.
- Submission Hours: Monday to Sunday, 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
- Admission: Free.
