Event Overview
The 11th Central & Southern District Consumer Carnival, organized by the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and the Macao Central and Southern District Federation of Industry and Commerce, will be held from September 10 to December 31, 2016. This event aims to boost the local economy by promoting shops in Macao's Central and Southern districts that offer special discounts. It's a win-win for businesses and customers, with the chance to win fantastic prizes.
Event Formats
- Central & Southern District Discount Guide: A printed booklet featuring all participating shop discounts. 40,000 copies will be available for pickup at the event office, Leal Senado Building (Tourism Activities Centre at Senado Square), Border Gate, Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, Pac On Temporary Ferry Terminal, and Macao International Airport.
- WeChat Official Account E-Coupons: All discount information from the guide will also be uploaded to the event's WeChat official account. Tourists and residents can browse and download coupons anytime, anywhere, and use them unlimited times during the event period to stimulate spending.
- WeChat Official Account "Consumption Big Rewards": Users can get one free lottery chance every 24 hours by sharing the event, following the account, or scanning a shop's QR code.
- Mini Roulette Lottery: Consumers who hold a receipt from a participating merchant with a minimum purchase of MOP 50 can visit the event office for one lottery draw.
Prizes
Prizes include MOP 50 and MOP 100 cash vouchers, mobile phones, watches, other electronic products, food vouchers, hotel packages, commemorative cups, and more.
