The 10th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (MITE) brings cutting-edge elements and abundant offerings to enrich the visitor experience. This major tourism trade show features new pavilions, cultural showcases, and interactive activities.
Highlights & Features
- Lusofonia Pavilion: First-time setup featuring booths with delicacies, handicrafts, and performances from Portuguese-speaking countries, highlighting Macao's unique blend of Chinese and Portuguese cultures.
- Palace Museum Debut: The Palace Museum participates for the first time, with experts demonstrating intangible cultural heritage skills like ancient architectural colour painting.
- Macao as a Wedding Destination Pavilion: A new pavilion promoting wedding tourism and related economic development.
- Gastronomy Pavilion: Culinary demonstrations by chefs from local Michelin-starred and Black Pearl award-winning restaurants. Visitors can sample delicacies from Macao's distinctive F&B establishments.
- Macao Culture and Creation Pavilion & MAK MAK Pavilion: Showcasing products from local cultural and creative enterprises.
- MAK MAK Pavilion Lucky Draw: Visitors who spend MOP 300 or more on any products at the Expo (using a maximum of three receipts valid within the 3-day Expo period) are entitled to one lucky draw entry.
- Online Registration Bonus: Visitors who register online can redeem a MOP 10 consumption certificate by showing their QR code to staff upon entry. This certificate counts towards the MOP 300 spending requirement for the lucky draw.
