Introduction

Established as part of the Ha Wan Market redevelopment plan, the Ha Wan Public Library commenced service in December 2009.

Located on the third floor of Ha Wan Market, the library spans 1,245 square meters. It features a reading area, an audio-visual materials room, a children's reading room, an activity room, and a newspaper and periodicals area for public leisure and learning.

The library houses approximately 18,554 books, 1,432 audio-visual items, 61 types of newspapers from various regions, and 113 types of magazines. It provides 140 reading seats, and the activity room can accommodate up to 40 people.
