Course Overview

In this fast-paced era of escalating societal tension, how can we rediscover inner peace and become role models worthy of children's imitation? Through a five-session parent academy with different themes, parents begin by understanding themselves, then learn about children's developmental patterns. This empowers parents with a freer spirit, embarking on a path of self-awareness and personal growth, ultimately becoming better companions and guides for their children. Various themes are explored from the perspectives of anthroposophy, Waldorf education, and modern psychology. Interactive games, art, and handcrafts allow participants to gain deeper insights and understanding.

Course Content

Session 1: Waldorf Education Overview – The importance of the caregiver's personal inner cultivation - The adult's inner posture. Developmental Psychology Overview – The importance of caring for personal inner cultivation - Knowing, accepting, and embracing oneself.

Session 2: Waldorf Education Overview – Development and upbringing of children aged 0–7. Developmental Psychology Overview – Physical and mental development and upbringing methods for ages 0–6.

Session 3: Waldorf Education Overview – The four foundational senses and how to nurture each. Developmental Psychology Overview – Understanding sensory integration and home-based sensory integration games.

Session 4: Waldorf Education Overview – The art of speaking with young children and the importance of free play. Developmental Psychology Overview – Teaching by words and example, the importance of free play.

Session 5: Waldorf Education Overview – The meaning of festivals and integrating festival life. Developmental Psychology Overview – Practicing a quality life.
