Workshop Overview
Weird Embroidery Company partners with KITA Centre to present the latest spiritual series of hand embroidery courses. This workshop focuses on the "Flower of Life," a sacred geometric symbol representing the blueprint of life and the origin of the universe. Through the meditative process of embroidery and drawing circles with needle and thread, we return to inner peace. What looks like a complex pattern can be quite simple. The workshop also teaches how to frame the finished piece, which you can take home as a decoration or gift to loved ones. Multiple time slots are available. Sign up quickly!
Workshop Details
- Duration: 5 hours total (2 sessions, 2.5 hours each)
- Schedule (Choose One Class):
- Class A: April 11 & 18, 19:30–22:00
- Class B: April 12 & 19, 19:30–22:00
- Class C: April 13 & 20, 19:30–22:00
- Class D: April 15 & 22, 10:30–13:00
- Class E: April 15 & 22, 14:30–17:00
- Fee: MOP 1,500 (includes materials)
- Discounts:
- 10% off for groups of two
- 30% off for alumni of the "Everyone Returns to Embroidery" workshop
- Discounts cannot be combined
- Location: Weird Embroidery Company (Room J, 2nd Floor, No. 265 Avenida do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues, Macau)
- Capacity: 4–6 people (minimum 2 to start the class)
Course Content
- Guided simple meditation
- Introduction to the origin and meaning of the Flower of Life
- Teaching tracing and sketching techniques
- Basic embroidery stitches
- Framing and mounting the finished piece with needle and thread
