About the Museum
The Xian Xinghai Memorial Museum was established by the Macao SAR Government to commemorate the great Macao-born musician Xian Xinghai. It honors his contributions to the nation, promotes his musical achievements, and sets him as a role model for young people.
Housed in a building constructed in the 1950s with a simple façade, the museum is divided into several sections:
- Exhibition Room
- Discovery Corner (multimedia interactive space)
- Multi-purpose Hall
- Nursing Room
- Courtyard
Key Features
- Exhibition: Displays precious manuscripts and personal effects from the life of the patriotic musician Xian Xinghai.
- Interactive Experience: The multimedia Discovery Corner allows visitors to experience the fun of conducting an orchestra.
- Learning Zone: A dedicated knowledge zone provides children with interesting facts about music and orchestras.

- Closed: Tuesdays (Open on public holidays)
- Guided Tours: Sundays, 15:00–16:00 (Available in Cantonese or Mandarin)
