About the Exhibition

This thematic exhibition presents over 130 pieces/sets of precious artifacts from the Palace Museum, all themed around the Palace of Double Brilliance (Chonghua Palace). It narrates the stories and figures associated with this significant historical site.

Located in the northwest corner of the Forbidden City, the Palace of Double Brilliance served as the princely residence of the Qianlong Emperor before his ascension to the throne. It was later elevated to the status of a 'palace,' embodying rich historical significance and profound cultural heritage.
