This exhibition presents works that explore women's perspectives on sexuality, focusing on the differences and taboos between men and women regarding sex, and raising questions about sexual equality rights.
Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden because Eve couldn't resist the Evil's seduction. She first bit the forbidden fruit. What if it was Adam? It seems that sexual need is for men, and only for men; when it comes to women having sexual needs, they will be ashamed and labeled as lacking morality. Why don't women deserve this basic need?
Some say it's a morality issue. However, this so-called morality is just a stigma of ideology inherited from conservative generations, and it shows the deep oppression of sexuality on women from the patrilineal society. Polygamy was allowed in the past. Until now, women still could not get out of the hymens, still be controlled by spouses, and even be named a whore just for wanting to enjoy sex.
Women have the dominant right in sex! Sex is not exclusive for men. We are not an attachment, but a centerpiece.
