Warm Lavender Love: Lavender Flower Exhibition
Continuing the romantic season, the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) presents the "Warm Lavender Love: Lavender Flower Exhibition" from March 25 to April 10. The exhibition will showcase the charming purple allure of lavender at the Taipa Houses–Museum (Casas-Museu da Taipa), welcoming the public to visit.
During the unpredictable colors of spring, IACM presents this heartwarming and intoxicating floral exhibition. From March 25 to April 10, between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, over 60,000 pots of warm purple lavender will be planted throughout the Taipa Houses–Museum area, releasing a captivating floral fragrance.
Exhibition Zones
The exhibition area is divided into three main themed zones:
- "Romantic Art Garden": Floral installations and decorative arches greet visitors as they enter from the Cross Garden. Information about great flower-viewing spots in Macau is displayed beside three-dimensional floral boxes.
- "Happiness Garden": Beyond strolling through the enchanting sea of flowers, visitors will find a "LOVE" shaped installation.
- "Garden of Cupid": Features playful attractions like the "Romantic Swing" and "Happiness Carousel". Play alongside the rabbits of Cupid, breathe in the romantic scent of dried lavender under the "Fragrant Pavilion" cottage to relieve urban stress, or leave heartfelt messages at the "Whispering Wall" to record wonderful memories.
Workshops
Specially from March 25 to 28, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, several workshops will be held:
- Paper Craft Flower Room Workshop: Create realistic miniature lavender paper flower pots and lavender pressed flower bookmarks using paper as the primary material.
- Glass Flower Room Workshop: Craft lavender pressed flower keychains and lavender glass ball necklaces.
Instructors will be present to provide on-site guidance. The public is welcome to participate on-site.
