Experience the perfect fusion of artistic beauty and exceptional imagination amidst dazzling golden light! MGM Macau, renowned for its high-end art, and the prestigious shopping landmark, One Central Macau, jointly present the "Glory to China, Blessings to Macau – Wang Kaifang 'Gold Brick' Art Exhibition" from February 7 to April 2, 2013. Wang Kaifang is a renowned Chinese cross-disciplinary designer and artist. The 12 giant sculptures on display have never been exhibited outside mainland China and are all covered in 24K gold leaf, creating a festive, joyful, and harmonious Lunar New Year atmosphere with their brilliant golden glow.
As one of China's most culturally creative cross-disciplinary artists, Wang Kaifang founded Beijing Horizon Architecture & Decoration Co., Ltd. and established the Wang Kaifang Art & Design Studio as early as 1995. With over 20 years in the industry, he has traveled to more than 80 countries and completed over 300 projects spanning numerous fields including architecture, landscape, sculpture, interior design, video, painting, product design, and graphic design. He has received numerous accolades, including titles such as "Outstanding Artist of the Chinese Era," "Most Influential Artist," and "Chinese Design Annual Figure." His artwork was carried into space aboard the Shenzhou-8 spacecraft, marking the first space journey for a contemporary Chinese art piece.
