Baptiste Habichon studied at several art schools in France and graduated from the Fresnoy – National Studio of Contemporary Arts in 2017. With his unique creations, Habichon has made a name for himself in numerous exhibitions in China and abroad after graduation. He won the BMW Residency Art Award in 2017 and the Prix Sabatier-Montrouge Salon in 2018, and was selected as a resident artist at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris for 2019 and 2020.
This exhibition is divided into five series: Album, Father's Shirt, Trees of the Lodi Gardens, Balcony, and Manhattan Drawing, comprising 41 contemporary photographic artworks. Habichon's creative techniques blend tradition and innovation, combining analog photography, digital imagery, and projections of everyday objects. The images present an artistic context that is real, psychedelic, and wondrous. The exhibition inspires visitors to understand the contemporary expression of photographic art and explore the possibilities of artistic creation, offering a spectacular 'molecular gastronomy' feast of imagery for Macao's photography community, art lovers, and the public.
The Cultural Affairs Bureau will strictly follow the relevant epidemic prevention guidelines from health authorities to make appropriate arrangements for cultural events. Visitors must wear their own masks, undergo temperature checks, present their daily health code, and cooperate with on-site crowd control measures.
