The Youth Art Gallery under the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau will present the "Valley of Tears – Zhang Yijun Solo Exhibition" from October 4 to 15, 2017.
This exhibition showcases works by Zhang Yijun, a visual arts student, featuring sketches, mixed-media pieces, and video art. The themes explore self-portraiture, the state of selflessness expressed through imagery, and reflections on the loss of loved ones. Through this exhibition, Zhang Yijun aims to demonstrate her courage and perseverance in exploring emotions, marking a starting point for her future creative endeavors.
A notable aspect is that for each exhibition, participants, with the assistance, guidance, and encouragement of gallery staff, are involved in exhibition preparation, promotional material design, and installation. This fully embodies the Youth Art Gallery's mission to provide young people with space for exhibitions and performances to showcase their talents, share creativity, and cultivate creative thinking and self-confidence.
