The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) presents the "2025 USJ International Cultural Carnival" on March 1 at its Green Island Campus. The event will feature over 30 food, game, and cultural experience booths organized by USJ students, faculty, and alumni from more than 50 different nationalities.
The carnival aims to showcase the university's multicultural environment, allowing international students to deepen their understanding of local Macau culture and share their experiences, becoming ambassadors for Macau's cultural diversity and promoting cross-cultural exchange.
Students and staff will present diverse culinary delights from around the world, including China, Brazil, the Philippines, Vietnam, Timor-Leste, Myanmar, and various African countries.
Provides information on USJ's various academic programs. A platform for face-to-face consultation with faculty members to learn about the latest news and admissions content.
Features alumni handicrafts and creative productions, presenting unique, natural, eco-friendly lifestyle items and DIY goods to promote the concept of green living.
A workshop themed around the USJ Green Island Campus, transforming glass and plastic bottles into adorable little flower pots! This is both a creative adventure and a lesson in sustainable living. Participants will learn how to practice sustainability in daily life, reduce waste, and explore the beauty of plants as companions.
The performance segment includes traditional Chinese martial arts (Wing Chun), Guzheng (Chinese zither) performances, and energetic dance shows by USJ students and alumni. This edition also features a special performance by a local Macau band.
The opening ceremony will include a grand parade to showcase the unique charm of USJ's multicultural community to the public.
