About the Exhibition

The main purpose of the TREE exhibition is to lead the viewer to establish an organic connection with the body of work presented in the installation. This enables each visitor to create their own thoughts and personal interpretation of what they are seeing.

After an intimate journey inside each compartment of the exhibition, the artist invites visitors to contribute by bringing three photographs—one per room—related to the materials they see and the feelings and thoughts evoked by the TREE.

Interactive Participation & Collective Session

The goal is to invite viewers to become part of the exhibition by adding their personal photographs. A wall outside the exhibition compartments features 25 gray wooden boxes that will be filled during a collective editing session.

• Collective Session Date & Time: August 9, 2014, at 3:00 PM.
• How to Participate: After experiencing the artist's "TREE," Isaac Pereira asks for your gift in the form of 3 photographs related to your personal vision of the exhibition.
• Submission: Place your photographs in the "Box of Photos" within the exhibition space before August 9.
• Editing Process: The collective editing will also incorporate words left in the "Box of Tree Words" installed in each part of the installation.
