Feast of Hong Kung (康公寶誕) - August 2
- Date: August 2 (Lunar July 7)
- Senior Dwellers' Big Bowl Feasting: 5:45 PM – 8:30 PM at Hong Kung Temple Square, Rua de Cinco de Outubro
- Highlights: Traditional Cantonese opera performances, a special feast for senior citizens, and nostalgic golden oldies music.
- Tourist Participation: Two tables are reserved for tourists at MOP 120 per person. Telephone reservation required.
Feast of Maidens / Double Seventh Festival (七姐誕/七夕) - August 2
- Date: August 2 (Lunar July 7)
- Orchid Exhibition: August 1–10, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Newbridge Garden (新橋花園仔)
- Significance: A festival especially for young girls, also known as Chinese Valentine's Day or the Magpie Festival.
Feast of Hungry Ghosts / Ghost Festival (盂蘭節/鬼節) - August 9
- Date: Around August 9 (Lunar July 14)
- Observance: A unique tradition where families place offerings of rice and meat on doorsteps and burn incense and paper money for wandering spirits and ancestors.
Feast of the Wealth God (財帛星君寶誕) - August 17
- Date: August 17 (Lunar July 22)
- Main Ceremony: 10:00 AM at Lin Kai Temple (蓮溪廟) and its forecourt.
- Activities: Taoist blessing ceremony for Macau's economic prosperity, lion dance performances, and a parade featuring the Wealth God and fairies.
- 'New Bridge Trail Welcomes the Wealth God' Game: August 10–31. Pick up a trail leaflet at Lin Kai Temple (25-31 Travessa da Corda), follow the route, answer questions correctly, and receive a Wealth God souvenir pendant.
Macau Linshui Palace Folk Culture Festival (陳靖姑民俗文化節) - August 26–28
- 1st Holy Mother of Heaven Chen Jing-Gu Culture International Forum & Photo Exhibition: August 26, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Fisherman’s Wharf Conference Room.
- Public Dharma Assembly: August 27, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Iao Hon Market Park (祐漢街市公園).
- Fuzhou Arts Performance: August 27, 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM at Iao Hon Market Park.
- Parade: August 28, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, proceeding from Iao Hon Market Park to Macau Linshui Palace (11th Floor, Block 2, Edif. Industrial Nam Fong, Avenida de Venceslau de Morais).
