The Taipa Village Cultural Association presents its first fashion accessories exhibition, "Tomorrow's Heritage: Fashion Scarves by Clara Brito," showcasing the latest collection by renowned Portuguese designer and event curator Clara Brito. The exhibition highlights the aesthetic of scarf prints, demonstrating her unique creative vision.
Originally scheduled from November 15 to December 29, 2023, the exhibition has been extended to January 26, 2024, aiming to attract art enthusiasts to continue their visits in the new year. Inspired by the historical context of Chinese ceramic art, Clara presents a series of unique fashion accessories in the form of scarves, embodying the craftsmanship, aesthetics, and intricate patterns of traditional Chinese ceramics.
The exhibition will display exquisite fashion scarves in various sizes. In addition to smaller pieces, the venue will feature several art installations made from delicate fabrics to showcase the print aesthetics of this fashion accessory. "Tomorrow's Heritage" is a project designed by creative thinkers, researchers, designers, and professionals from traditional crafts and textiles from the Greater Bay Area and Portuguese-speaking countries. It aims to speculate, research, and document the cultural beliefs, behavioral patterns, and secular cultural heritage of crafts and textiles from citizens in different corners of the world.
