About the Exhibition

Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's maiden voyage, The Venetian Macao brings this timeless story to Macau. Step into the 'Titanic Exhibition' and feel as if you are boarding the ship itself, offering a fascinating new perspective to view and understand the Titanic. Walk through the magnificent Grand Staircase, marvel at the splendor of the famous vessel, and explore specially recreated iconic areas including the 27-foot-high luxury staircase, first-class cabins, and the promenade deck.

Exhibition Highlights

• Over 400 Replicated Artifacts: The exhibition displays more than 400 meticulously crafted replicas of treasures from the Titanic. These items were reproduced with precision based on the shipwreck discovered at the bottom of the sea and are presented within environments that faithfully recreate the ship's iconic spaces.
• Historical Journey: Review key events in the Titanic's history, from its design concept and construction, to life onboard for passengers, its collision with the iceberg, sinking, and the eventual discovery of the wreck.
• Immersive & Interactive Experience: Upon entry, visitors receive a simulated boarding pass. Explore faithfully recreated sections of the original ship, including first and third-class cabins, the 27-foot-high Grand Staircase, the promenade deck, and the boiler room.
• Discovery & Sensation: Several exhibition halls detail the ship's construction and the 1985 discovery of its wreck in the Atlantic Ocean. A key interactive feature allows visitors to place their hand on a special 'iceberg' model to physically experience the frigid temperature of the sea water at the time of the sinking.
• Human Stories: The exhibition narrates the legendary tale of the ship and shares the real-life stories of the passengers and crew who embarked on its first and final voyage from Southampton to New York on April 10, 1912. It also features objects that appeared in James Cameron's famous film, Titanic.
