The five-day Tian Hou Festival is a traditional celebration commemorating the birthday of the Goddess Mazu. The event features Cantonese opera performances and thanksgiving banquets, continuing a centuries-old tradition. The festival kicks off with a lion dance performance inside the A-Ma Temple, and a bamboo stage will be erected in front of the temple for a series of spectacular Cantonese opera performances from April 25 to 29.
