About the Exhibition
- The exhibition was planned starting in 2012 and received strong support from many universities, secondary and primary schools in Macau, as well as local collectors and citizens.
- Over 200 pieces of memorabilia were collected, with more than 150 selected for display.
- The exhibition is divided into three sections: School Treasures, Childhood Dreams, and Youth Imprints.
- The items hold significant historical value, including various documents, manuscripts, brochures, photos, badges, books, report cards, letters, newspapers, and prospectuses that reflect the development history of Macau schools.
- The time span of the exhibits exceeds 100 years, from the 2nd year of the Tongzhi reign (1863) to the late 20th century.
- Exhibits come from over 30 schools in Macau, including many that have ceased operations (e.g., Confucian School, Qu Jie Middle School) and many that are still operating today (e.g., Hou Kong Middle School, Workers' Children Secondary School).
