Respect for All Living Things, A Performance of Warmth and Power
Little One's grandfather is a cultural relic doctor in the Forbidden City. Due to his restoration work, they haven't seen each other for a long time. As Grandfather's birthday approaches, Little One decides to bake a cake by hand and deliver it to his workplace. Overjoyed to see Little One, Grandfather gifts him a set of tools used for relic restoration and a giant magnifying glass. Just as Little One begins to examine things with the magnifying glass, he is suddenly transported by a mysterious light to an unfamiliar world...
Produced by Beijing Poly Theatre, The Little One in the Forbidden City centers on the theme of "The Dignity of Cultural Relics." Through a story about protecting artifacts, it combines the protagonist's journey with historical and cultural knowledge, promoting traditional Chinese culture and teaching children to respect cultural relics and all living things.
